Job Description

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare statutory and consolidated GL accounts in Pennylane in accordance with French GAAP.

  • Coordinate the accounting and month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Analyze key general ledger account movements and provide insightful commentary.

  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

  • Participate in annual and interim audits, liaising with auditors as needed.

  • Provide guidance on complex accounting and reporting issues.

  • Coordinate with local accountants in Canada, US, Germany, and Spain to ensure consistent accounting practices and reporting across all entities.

  • Contribute to the design and optimization of consolidation processes, financial control procedures, and internal reporting frameworks.

Preferred Experience

What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of banking experience in a similar finance and/or controlling role

  • Excellent accounting knowledge, with proven experience with consolidated financial reporting, and French GAAP.ย  IFRS knowledge would be a plus.

  • A structured and logical approach to solving problems

  • Excellent analytical skills and a 'can-do' attitude

  • Experience within a fast-growing organisation

  • Great motivation and focus on delivery

  • A business school or university degree in accounting, management, or economics
